CHRISTMAS 2010

We had a great Christmas this year. It started off with christmas eve at the Miles house. We had yummy food did our gift exchange and played some games!

Don was a good sport that night. He just had knee surgery and was in a lot of pain, but he hung out for a bit and then had to go back in bed.

Next we headed over to my parents house for a slumber party!

That night we played the Wii, played a candy bar game and ate goodies and went to bed so that santa would come!

Christmas was great except for the fact that Jace was extremely sick. He woke up Christmas morning happy as can be, then he fell asleep around 8:30 a.m. and woke up to throw up, and he was throwing up every 20 min till around 1 after that. It was so sad, he was exhausted from throwing up and being so weak that he was sleeping while he was barfing. He didn't care much about the fun toys he got at all since he was so sick, which was sad for his first christmas. We went home and gave him a bath and he finnaly ate something and stopped throwing up. The next day he was feeling much better so, we got out all his toys that he got and he loved them.

It was great to spend time with family and enjoy eachothers company. Even though Jace was sick, we still managed to have a great Christmas! Hope everyones was great!!

6 months/Turkey day!

Jace is 6 months now and I seriously can't belive it. People always say how fast time flies and I never quite understood till now. We are loving the stage he is in right now. He has such a fun little personality and keeps us so entertained. He is very snuggly wich I LOVE! His knew think is to grab your face with both hands and give you a big open mouthed kiss, it's more like he's knawing on your face, it cracks me up. He is starting to hold his arms out when you go to grab him it's like he's saying hold me, makes me feel so loved. He loves his daddy and lights up when Gabe gets home from work. The second he hears his voice he turns to see him and starts kicking his legs and squeeling in excitement, so cute! He's liking baby food a lot more, but would prefer human food. I fed him a little mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving, and he was loving it. Any time your eating anything he opens his mouth wide and tries to gab it. We adore him and are looking for the next milestones in his life, but also don't want him to grow too fast.

He's sitting up so well now which is so nice cause he is a lot happier being able to see more things.

We went to pirate island for our nephews B-day and Jace saw this skeleton and thought hmm I wonder how this tastes, seeing as he has to taste everything.

Thanksgiving was great as usual. Between yummy food, great family, late thursday night craziness shopping, seeing my aunt get married on thanksgiving, and having Gabe home all weekend long, it was a very enjoyable holiday weekend!

I am so thankful for my life and the people that surround it that make life worth living!! Happy Thanksgiving.

My dad is an amazing cook and made the main dishes for our feast. We even had a smoked turkey wich was divine, and so moist!

Nicole made these cute Thanksgiving treats with our names on them where we were sitting, so creative!

That night my mom and sisters and I went out in the craziness at 10 p.m. to do some shopping, we attempted to go to toys r us, but the line was waaaay too long, you had to be nuts to wait in it, not to mention it was freezing, so we hit up some other stores that weren't as bad but still annoyingly crouded. We stayed out till 2 a.m. and got some great stuff, it was a fun girls night.

I didn't capture any pics of our next day of thanksgiving with Gabes side of the fam, there was great food and great company... lets just say I ate way too much, but hey it's only once a year so you gotta get your feel in right? It was a great fun filled weekend!

We also got to go on a dat just Gabe and I, these are rare these days cause Jace is usually with us, so it was so nice to get out. We went to dinner and met up with our friends Christie and Scottie to see Unstoppable. Thanks to my parents for watching Jace for us. It was a much needed break!

Jace Man!

I just wanted to post some pictures of Jace man over the last month or so, he is getting so cute and so fun. He'll be 6 mon in a few weeks. I know crazy!!

Jace is definitely a morning boy and is always so happy when he wakes up!

He's getting close to sitting up but still flops over after a few seconds.

Alright so I am guilty of setting him in front of the T.V. to get dinner ready or just stuff done around the house, but he loves it:)

Jace use to love baby food then he threw it up one day and a couple more times so I stopped feeding it to him for like a week and tried it again, and now he hates it. He makes a sour face every bite and gags on it. I'm not sure what to do. I guess I'll just keep trying it until he likes it again, if he ever does.

Halloween!!

We had a great Halloween this year! First we carved pumpkins with the Lambs. It's a tradition to get together with them and see who can carve the best pumpkin! We always have a blast with them! Thanks Christie and Scottie.

Jace hung out in his bumbo and helped us carve. It was cute he kept holding onto Christies pumpkin and wanted to help so bad:)

We went to a halloween party over at the Maughans house. They just moved back so we can now resume our halloween parties! It was a blast. We played fear factor, which was so funny/fun, had a costume contest, did the limbo, and ate a tone of yummy food. It's always a good time and we can't wait for next year!

We had a whole wizard of oz clan... Alissa-the wicked witch of the west, baby Ethan-flying monkey, Adam-tin-man, us Dorothy, scare-crow, and Toto, Austin-the Lion, and Andrea- the good witch. I thought we all looked the part, it was fun!

The whole clan! For the costume contest, Bert and Ernie won(Bionca and Greg) 2nd place was Grease(Mike, Dyami, and baby June) and our group got third place. I thought every ones costumes were great though!! (and yes I did steal this pic off your blog Ang:) thanks!)

This is a pic of baby Ethan and Jace at the party. There costumes were on for about 10 seconds and then into there jammies they went:) They are a day apart in age, so I'm sure they are going to be best buds!! Jace kept staring and grabbing at him:)

Such fun memories!! We are looking froward to next year!!
