Campin!

Over Labor day weekend we went camping with my family up to my parents property. We always have a blast when we go up there and enjoy getting away for a bit. Before we started the camping trip, we made a stop at Swiss Days friday night just the girls(and Jace):). We all got some fun stuff and enjoyed eating the yummy scones and shopped till we dropped.

Then we headed to the property and met up with the rest of the crew.

Takin the kids around the track on the go cart

Gettin away from the sun for a bit.

Playing hourse shoes

My parents bought a trapoline for there property. We had a blast on it. We had a tramp growing up, so it brought back a lot of memories. I'm definately not able to do all the tricks I use to, but it was still way fun!

Jace loved it!

Hangin out around the camp fire.

Swingin on the hammock.

Playing in the tent. It gets so bright in the mornings in a tent, so Jace was up at 6 a.m. every morning, so we had to chill in there till everyone else woke up.

Nicole became a pro on Joshs new motor cycle.

We went to the lake one day and played in the water, and let the dogs get some of there energy out.

Out on the Lake

As you may know, my husband is obsessed with fishing, and I don't mind it much either. Gabe came up with the idea of renting a pontoon boat and heading out to the lake for the day. So that's what we did. We convinced every one(gabes fam) to head out at 5:30 a.m. to get to Strawberry by 6:30. It was early, but worth it, we think:) We were minus a few members of the family, and they were missed, but It was a great day out on the lake, and we caught a tun of fish. We had to throw most of them back, because they were cut throats, but still had a great day! Lots of pics from our fun day:)

Headin out to our sweet spot!

I only made Jace wear this life jacket when we were moving, which he probably should have worn it the hole time, but as you can see it's not the most comfortable thing.

Kass and Gauge. He looked miserable in his jacket, but was such a good sport about it and didn't even make a peep.

Don is terrified of water, but he did really good. He didn't take his life jacket off the whole time:)

Jacers thinking he was driving the boat:)

Just chillin

First catch of the day. He's giving me a sarcastic smile cause I wanted a picture of him and his fish, but he was more worried about getting the hook off and the fish back in the water before it died cause it was one we couldn't keep.

Jerome and his first catch of many.

Our nephew caught this off his little transformers $10 pole. He was just playing around casting and reeling over and over when all the sudden he couldn't reel in any more, we heard him yell and came over to find this nice rainbow trout on his pole. He was so proud of it and was bragging all day about his awesome catch:)

Jerome and Kass

Kris and Gabe with Kris's nice Rainbow.

We caught all cut throats, so we had nothing to take home, but still a blast!

Kass fishin!

Grandma kristi and Story.

Grandma Kristi and Jacers

Hangin out eatin some grapes:)

Headin back to the Marina

Jace was pretty much exhausted and didn't wake up till we got home:)
We will definitely be doing this again it was a great day!

FIVE

It was our five year anniversary last week. Yep five, I know crazy right? I feel like i've known Gabe for forever, but also feel like our wedding was not that long ago. I'm sure the years will continue to fly by. For our anniversary, we decided park city would be a fun little get a way. We've never really been there, I know sad, so we headed out on Friday and stayed the night. Our Hotel was awesome, and we ate at some restaraunts that we've never been to before, wich I love trying new places. We also walked main street and the out lets and did some of the Mountain Resort activities. Oh yeah and did Gabes favorite, hot tubbing. It was a much needed little get-a-way, and Jace was well taken care of with my parents.

Our cute room. It was really nice and very cozy.

Riding the lift to the Alpine slide. We loved it that you get to take the scenic route to get to the top.

Such a stud for carrying both our sleds to the slides.

We felt like kids again racing eachother down the track. He totally beat me by the way.

Ridin the Coaster. That thing is actually way faster than I thought it would be. We loved it!

Gabe said for our ten year anniversary we'll go to Hawaii, I'm holding him to it:) Happy five years Babe, sure Love you!!
