So I went to my 36 wk appointment a few days ago. They did the normal checks and found that my blood pressure is high and they found protiene in my urine, which isn't good. My doctor thinks that I may have preeclampsia, but only the early stages of it. I've been working full time and was planning on working till i went into labor. Well, not anymore... He put me on bed rest and told me that i wont be working till after I have the baby so that they can get my heart rate and other symptoms i've been having back to normal. If my blood pressure continues to stay the same or goes up, then they will have to induce me right away. I have to go in ever other day and do a non stress test, where they check my blood pressure and the babies heart to make sure things are stable. So far the bed rest is working I guess, because my blood pressure has gone down and the baby is perfectly healthy. I am doing ok so far, but I think I may go insane if I have to be on bed rest for very long. I'm not one that likes to just sit around all day, but I am willing to do it for mine and the babies safety. Wish us luck and I will keep you posted!!

We also got to celebrate with Gabes Brother Kris and our new sister-in-law Melanie. It was there wedding last weekend. It was such a pretty day and the wedding was perfect! Melanie looked georgous. Gabes mom Kristi actually made Melanies dress, and it was amazing!

Right now I'm kind of jealous of bed rest. I feel so exhausted and sleeping for the rest of my pregnancy sounds divine. But I know in actuality after one day I'd go crazy! So, I'm sorry!
that sucks you are on bed rest but sooo exciting that you are almost there! I am so sad we won't be able to see him for another few months! Post lots of pics ok? MISS YOU!
Thats a bummer that you're on bed rest! I think I would love it, but I would miss working, just like you! I hope everything turns out okay, i love your baby belly!!!

Sorry to hear Melissa... I just talked to Cary and she told me your being induced tomorrow. I hope everything goes well with you and the baby. Can't wait to see pictures!
