He's here!!

Introducing...
Jace Joseph Miles.
Born Thursday May 27th at 10:33 A.M.
Weighing 7lbs 191/2 in long.
He's very helthy and so adorable.
Labor Story.....
I went in for my regular 1 week appt on Wednesday. My blood pressure has been high and that's why I was on bed rest. Well on Wed it was very high and the Dr. said that I needed to be done with being pregnant because the only cure to get my blood pressure down was to have the baby. So he told me to go to the hospital and get started on pitosin right away. 20 long hours later of only being dialated to a three, my body finally decided to kick into gear. I went to a five and then they checked me again an hour later and I was fully dialated. I pushed for 10 min and he was out! I had an epidural towards the end and was so greatful to have that. Over all it went good except for the 20 hours in between. We are so happy he's here. He is so adorable and we couln't be happier to parents to this little guy! And i'm not so sad to not be pregnant anymore:)

Last pic being prego:)

Bed Rest Ugh!!

So I went to my 36 wk appointment a few days ago. They did the normal checks and found that my blood pressure is high and they found protiene in my urine, which isn't good. My doctor thinks that I may have preeclampsia, but only the early stages of it. I've been working full time and was planning on working till i went into labor. Well, not anymore... He put me on bed rest and told me that i wont be working till after I have the baby so that they can get my heart rate and other symptoms i've been having back to normal. If my blood pressure continues to stay the same or goes up, then they will have to induce me right away. I have to go in ever other day and do a non stress test, where they check my blood pressure and the babies heart to make sure things are stable. So far the bed rest is working I guess, because my blood pressure has gone down and the baby is perfectly healthy. I am doing ok so far, but I think I may go insane if I have to be on bed rest for very long. I'm not one that likes to just sit around all day, but I am willing to do it for mine and the babies safety. Wish us luck and I will keep you posted!!

Here is a belly shot at 36 wks:)

We also got to celebrate with Gabes Brother Kris and our new sister-in-law Melanie. It was there wedding last weekend. It was such a pretty day and the wedding was perfect! Melanie looked georgous. Gabes mom Kristi actually made Melanies dress, and it was amazing!
The happy married couple!

There colors were purple and black which turded out so pretty.

I wasn't too thrilled about taking so many pictures of me 36 wks pregnant, but what do ya do!

Random baby stuff

So I know it's been a while since I posted, but we've had a lot of stuff going on latley, between work, getting ready for the baby and showers, every weekend has been busy. I've had a lot of fun getting everything put together for our little guy to come. I only have 6 weeks left and am doing a lot of "nesting". Gabe always teases me and says that he didn't think that women really go through a nesting stage until now:)

I had my friend/family shower and my work shower so far which was really fun, we have pretty much everything we will be needing now wich feels great.

We went to the Brick Oven for my work shower, and they all went in on my swing. I also got a tone of home made items from Megan that are all so darling!

My mom and My sister Nicole threw me a friend/family shower. It was so much fun and we had a tone of people come and support me. Thanks everyone!

Nicole made me this really cute frame for his room!

Yes Gabe did show up for the last 15 min:)

We also got our room all painted and set-up. I still have to do some decorating on the walls, but it is mostly done. My brother-in-law Josh did us a huge favor and did the baton board on the walls. He did such a good job, we love it.

Gabe painting. I helped but wore a mask and we had the windows open so we didn't harm our kid.

And the finished product. like I said the walls still need some work, but you get the idea...

We are getting more and more excited and are counting down the days till our little mister gets here.

New Post

So not much has been going on in the miles home lately. We have been slowly getting things in order for our little guy to come. We painted his room got some furniture and a few other things we will be needing here in a couple of months. There is still a lot of work to be done though, but luckily we still have plenty of time. It's so amazing how much he kicks. I feel him moving all day every day. He is a very active baby. We can now see him kicking and punching. It's so fun to watch. We stare at my stomach every night watching it ripple. It's such a cool thing. Anyways I am enjoying being pregnant, minus the gaining weight part and no clothes fitting thing. But it is a good excuse to go shopping:)

25 weeks down, 15 more to go:)

We went bowling with Josh and Nicole and then to Ice cream after a little bit ago. We had to buy the ice cream because we made a bet that who ever lost had to buy. Well we lost so we treated! We had a lot of fun!

Here are a few action shots of us bowling:)

My dental office also went to the annual UDA convention in Salt Lake. We had fun. Our Dr. treated us with Dinner twice, a movie, and a nights stay in the marriot with just us girls. We had fun laughing all night long and eating way too much junk food. I am sad though because I wasn't a very good picture taker and didn't capture much of our fun night.

Out to luch with the office at PF Changs. Yummy!

There was a giant tooth walking around at the convention that Megan and I had to get a picture with!

Until next time...

IT'S A...

Well we went to the doctor yesterday and had an ultrasound. Our baby is getting bigger every day and so is my belly. I have been felling lots of movement lately wich has been a lot of fun!. The baby is healthy and everything looked great! We also got to find out what we are having... It's A BOY!!!! Yep and he was not afraid to confirm to us over and over again that he is a boy:) He was moving a tone during the ultrasound showing us his cute little face, hands and feet which was fun to see! We couldn't be happier and are excited to meet this little guy in a few months. I kinda thought it was a girl and Gabe thought it was a boy so I guess he was right! Things are going good and we are excited to get ready for him to come!

I also need to post about Christmas! Better late than never right?? So we had a really good christmas and New year. We spent christmas eve with Gabes family, and had a slumber party that night at my parents house and woke up Christmas day with the whole family which was a lot of fun! We got a lot of fun stuff and had a great christmas with our families!

It was so fun to see Bentleys face when she saw all of her toys she had a grin from ear to ear.

Opening our presents christmas morning!

Gabe and his stocking!

For new years, we decided it would be fun to just hang out with lots of yummy food, a good movie, and some fun games. We had a great 2009 and are looking forward to what 2010 will bring!
