A Wonderful Christmas

We had an awesome christmas this year. It started off with Christmas eve at the the Miles house(gabes parents house). We ate dinner, played apples to apples, and opened presents. We had alot of fun spending time with gabes family. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so no pics of the miles christmas. Next was christmas morning at our house. Gabe and i do stockings every year, and we open them christmas morning. Gabe wanted to open them christmas eve this year so we did. Then we went to bed and woke up to presents from santaclause:) We both got some really fun stuff. Then we went over to the Baldwin home(my parents house). When we got there my dad was making a really yummy breakfast. My family got a Wii for christmas and so we played the Wii sports game for alot of the day. It was fun playing tennis and bowling ect. with the fam. Then we opened presents. We all got some really fun stuff and enjoyed our time together. After my fam, it was Julies house( gabes mom). We opened presents and chatted for a while it was nice to spend time with her. All in all it was an awesome christmas full of family fun. I love christmas and how it brings families together. We're looking forward to the new year and are excited to see what it brings. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday

My mom's birthday was today. All of my family went over to my parents house to celebrate with her. We ate potato bar, ham, and saladfor dinner. It was really yummy. Then we did the birthday thing and sang to her and watched her open her presents. She got lots of fun stuff. I love my mom she is such an amazing person, and I hope I can be half the mom that she is when I have kids. Happy Birthday mom we love ya!!

My awesome Parents

We also made gingerbread houses with my family last weekend. Josh and Nicole couldn't come, and they were deffinately missed. It's always fun to get together for the holidays and do stuff like this. We had alot of fun doing it, but i think a second grader could have done a better job than we did:)

Workin hard

Cami's frosting wasn't hardening fast enough, she got a little frustrated and got creative:)

The ending product! Don't mind Bryce with his shirt off, he got frosting on it and decided he didn't need to wear a shirt.

Story is here!!

Our sweet sister-in-law had baby Story today!! Her name is Story Grace Miles. She is so beautiful with lots of dark hair. She weighed 8 pounds 7 oz's and 20 inches long. Kass had a rough delivery though. She was in labor for about 12 hours and pushed for two straight hours. Story just didn't want to come out, so they had to do an emergency c-section. Kass is doing good besides the fact that she is really sore and tired, and Jerome is still trying to grasp the fact that he is a father:) They are going to be such amazing parents and we are looking forward to being in Story's life and watching her grow. This is the first girl that is on the Miles side, and I have a feeling she will be very spoiled, and get plenty of attention. We love you Jerome and Kassie and are so excited that she is finally here!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

This thanksgiving we went to Rexburg Idaho. Gabe's step-moms family does Thanksgiving every four years up there, and this was the year. We drove up there Thursday, and came home saturday. It was a lot of fun. Don and Kristi got a hotel for gabe and I, and we shared a room with Kris, Melanie, and Rayder. It was fun to hang out with them all weekend. After Thanksgiving in the church where we knew hardly anyone, we all went to Gabe's Grandma and Grandpa Ricks house to play games and just hang out. Then the next day we went shooting with all the cousins. It was cold, but alot of fun. That night it was Grandpa ricks 70th Birthday party. That was alot of fun too. That night, Gabe and Kris went to Jack in the box and came back with a chicken fajita pita for me and it obvoiusly didn't sit well with me, because I was throwing up all night. Fun huh!! All in all it was a great weekend get a way, and we are looking forward to the next one.

Just hangin out at the hotel

The rules are to post your sixth picture from your sixth folder and then tag six people. So here goes.

This is a picture of me, Gabe, and Gabes dad lifting our head board over the balcony. My dad was at the bottom and we were pulling it up from the top. Baby Shower

My mom and I threw my sister Nicole a babyshower. She is due in January and is having a baby girl. We are so excited, since this will be the first baby on my side of the family. My parents are so exctied to be grandparent, and i'm so excited to be an aunt. The shower was at my clubhouse. We had a really great turnout, and she got alot of cute stuff. Thanks everyone who helped with food, and came to support Nicole.

This was the food table, we did soups, rolls, veggies, and desserts. Her colors for her baby room are brown pink and green.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This was a great halloween. Last saturday, we went to our annual halloween party at Brandon and Lindsay's house. They always put on the funnest party. We ate some yummy food, had a costume contest, played pinatta, did the limbo, and played murderer in the dark. There were so many creatine costumes. Thanks again brandon and Lindsay for putting on such a great party.

Gabe and I went as a cop and an x-con. Gabe looks pretty hard core huh:)

Backpacking

This past weekend we went backpacking with Gabe's parents. We went up to the uintas. Is was a little cold, but it was very pretty and nice to just get away. You are all probably thinking that we are mountain men seeing as our last three posts have been about hunting, fishing, and camping. Both of our families are the outdoorsie type, and so are we:) We got to the Uintas at about 9 at night and started hiking. It was pitch black and we had to use flash lights to see the trail. The hike was up hill the whole time and it was about a mile long. We made it to camp at about 10:30. This was my first backpacking experience with Gabe. Last christmas Gabe bought me a backpack, and i thought it was a waste because I didn't think I would ever use it, but i'm gald i have it now. We enjoyed spending the day with Don and Kristi and being able to relax at the lake and just enjoy life:)
Gabe and I geared up and ready to go.

This is Cliff lake. It was very pretty. We were wearing orange because it was the deer hunt, and we didn't want to get shot.

It looks cold, but it actually wasn't too bad:)
