Memorial day!

So we had a pretty good week. On thursday My little sis turned 16, I can't believe she's 16, she still seems too little to be driving and dating to me. Then on Saturday we went up to my parents property in Duchesne and camped. It was cold and wet most of the time, which was a bummer. We attempted to go fishing at Strawberry, but that only lasted about a half an hour, the girls sat in the car for most of the time, and the boys got puored on. Bryce managed to catch one fish though. Of course the day we left was the nicest day. Oh well we still had a lot of fun, sitting around the camp fire, shooting guns, and riding four wheelers. Thanks mom and dad for inviting us, we had a blast!

Finally a post!

So i know i've been a slacker with blogging lately, but i have an excuse:) We had internet then we didn't and now we have it again so, hopefully i can be better. We had a great mothers day. We spent the week before at gabes parents house and had a great dinner there it was Don and Kristis anniversary mothers dat weekend and they were going to be gone, so we celebrated early, then the saturday before mothers day, we spent with my family. We took family pics, made stepping stones, and had a yummy bbq. On mothers day, we went and visited Gabes mom for a little bit. We love all our moms soo much and appreciate all they do for us. We also went on our first fishing outing of the year with Josh, Nicole , and Bentley. We caught a few fish and just enjoyed the sunshine:)

I got to watch Bentley over night a couple weeks ago while Josh and Nicole celebrated there anniversary. She was soo good and it was fun to feel like a mom for a night:)

We have deffinatley been enjoying the nice weather lately, especialy Ellie. She is getting to go on a lot more walks now that it's not freezing. She is one happy doggie when she gets to play outside:)

Happy Easter!!

We had a great easter this year! We went to dinner with gabes mom on Friday, and then spent easter sunday at my parents house, and gabe parents. It's always good to spend time with family. Gabe and I did baskets for eachother this year. I made Gabe go on a hunt to find his basket throughout our house. I made him go up and down the stairs a million times until he found his basket. I got some flip-flops, a new shirt, and some work-out clothes! Gabe got lots of teats, 2 shirts and a hat. All in all it was a great easter. We are so thankful and feel so spoiled to have all our family live close to us. We love all of them sooo much! Hope everyone had a great easter!

Vegas Baby!!

Last week my dental office went to Las Vegas for a dental training. We drove down Wenesday and came home Sunday. The training was at the venetion. It was a very pretty hotel. We stayed off the strip at South point which was a super nice hotel. The days were pretty long, but we managed to get a little fun in.

I came home on sunday morning to go to Bentleys blessing. Gabe and I barely made it in time. The blessing was at 1, and we drove straight from the airport to the blessing with only a few minutes to spare. The blessing was great. Bentley is so adorable. It was deffinately a great week!

Don't mind my nasty hair. Megan, Kellie, and I all had our own alarms set for that morning, and not one of them went off, so this is my non-showered look:)

Dental Convention

Last week was the annual UDA(Utah Dental Association)convention. It was up in salt lake at the salt palace. We were there thursday and Friday. We had a girls night on thursday and Stayed at the Little America in SLC. We had a blast with a lot of eventful experiences. Like bums asking us for our left overs, Showing up at the howard Johnson express hotel and being disgusted by it and scared for our lives, so Dr. Swenson said he would pay for us to stay at the Little America:), and having the worst waitress ever at the maccaroni grill, where we had to wait and wait for over 2 and a half hours. It was deffinatley unforgettable and a great way to bond with the girls.

This was our scary hotel. It's worse inside. It smelled like mold. So we wanted to all go in on the hotel and not spend atone of money to just stay over night. We looked on line, and the pictures looked great and it looked like a nice hotel. Well, the internet lied. So Dr. Swenson payed for us to go stay at the Little America wich was a lot of fun. Thanks Dr S.

This picture cracks me up. At the convention, one of the dental suppliers Henry Schein was taking pictures of offices on the Harley. We just had to get one. P.s. That's Dr. S's wife on he back with him:) We look pretty hard core don't we.

We had a great time at the convention, even though we were in classes all day long. I love the office that I work for. The girls are the best and we are all such good friends. Dr. S treats us really great too.

A Seafood Valentines!!

We had a really good Valentines day this year! It started off with Luch and a movie. We saw he's just not that into you with The Maughans. We didn't really like it, but it was still fun. After the movie we went over to the Maughans with a bunch of our friends and had a little party. We cooked up ALOT of seafood, steak, salad, and yummy desserts. After we were all stuffed, the girls talked and laughed our heads off, while the guys watched the dunk contest. Romantic huh:) We then topped the night off with our I-pod singing game. We loved being with our friends and sharing valentines with them.

Gabe and Brandon singing a duet blind-folded. This is a really funny game. You have to put the headphones in your ear with the music blaring while blind-folded. SO pretty puch you sing out loud and you can't hear or see anyone laughing there heads off at you. It's a fun game that we love to play.

Happy Valentines Day!!

So, since Valentines day is coming up, I felt it was appropriate to brag about my amazing husband and the things I love most about him.

1. Gabe is the best husband I could have ever asked for.


2. He is the hardest worker I know


3. He watches the batchelor with me every single monday night.


4. He gives me a back tickle with a smile on his face every night, even if he doesn't want to at all(I love my back tickled).


5. He has a very optimistic personality and is always positive no matter what the situation is.


6. If i'm having a bad day, he always tries his hardest to make it better.


7. He loves the outdoors, which is great because I love being outside too.


8. He is very outgoing and is friendly to everyone


9. He plays board games with me even if he's not in the mood.


10. He is so easy to please, I made hamburger helper for dinner the other night, and he was so greatful and thought it tasted so good:)


11. He's very organized. He organizes the whole house all of the time, which I love.


12. He is a great listener, well as good as a man will listen:)


13. He lets me put my car in the garage every day, while he sacrafices and has to scrape his car in the freezing cold every morning.


14. He likes to be around our friends and family a lot, wich I love to do as well.


15. He's an amasing person, and I couldn't ask for a better guy to spend eternity with. Love you Gabe.
