Fun in the SUN!!

We've had a fun summer so far, and are happy it's finally warm. Sorry soo long:)

First off we went to the annual strawberry days rodeo a couple weeks ago with some family. It's a tradition for gabe and I to go, since this was where we had our first date, and then a year later we got engaged the night of the rodeo, so we love to go every year!

And of course we had to scarf down some strawberries and cream, don't worry we didn't eat all of these our selves:)

I also had a girls night and we played till 3 in the morning while the boys had a guys night. I love girls nights!

We went to dinner with Brandon Lindsay, Austin, and Andrea one night. We are sad though because Brandon and Lindsay had to move to Las Vegas since Linz is going to PA school. We will miss them but are glad that it is only a year and a half program, and then they will be back!

We also celebrated Gabes dad Don's 49th b-day! Here is a pic of all the boys.

We also celebrated my 22nd B-day. I'm lucky enough to have fire works on every b-day since it falls on the 4th of July! I love it. Every year my mom makes me some sort of patriotic cake, and this year it was a berry flag cake. Cute huh! I had a great B-day and got lots of clothes, shoes, wallet, and a new CAMERA! I needed one desperately and I love it. Thanks to every one for making my B-day special.

We spent the holiday weekend in Idaho for a family reunion at Dawnata hot springs with my family. My mom and her two other sisters all rented these cute little cabins that we stayed in for a couple of nights. It was a lot of fun! This was us all crammed in the car on our way to Idaho.

We rode down the river at Lava hot springs. It is a very rapidy river and was a lot of fun, except for the fact that Gabe and I flipped off the tube three different times and got pretty beat up by the rocks that were smacking us while we were trying to get back on the tube. Every one was laughing at us because we looked like such idiots trying to get back on the tube. We had fun though!

I left ellie home and took her to a Doggie day care where she played with other dogs. The dogs she was next to were a Great dane, and a Mastif, both very big dogs they were in sepperate Kennels though, but apperantly she did really well and had fun. It was nice to not have to bring her, but I did miss her and she was glad to see me!

Then on Sunday we went to Gabes parents house and had dinner and they sang happy birthday to me. All in all we're having a great summer and can't wait for more fun in the sun!

What we've been up to!

So we've been pretty busy between work, church callings, and play. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Nicole and I ran a 5K a couple of weeks ago in Eagle Mountain. It was my first race and a lot of fun. Thanks Nicole for doing it with me:)

We watched the movie Up in 3D I thought it was a really cute movie!

We celebrated my Dads 43rd birthday! I sure Love my dad. He blew out all 43 candles in one puff!

We had to say good bye to our friends and next door neighbors Nate and Jamie! We have become really good friends with them and are soo sad they had to move. They will be missed!

We went fishing up at Salem ponds over the weekend with Gabes brother Kris. It was rainy at first but then it cleared up and was actually really nice weather. We cought our limit and had a lot of fun!

Gabe helped his parents build a swing set for the grandkids while i supervised. They had to stop and only got this far since it was raining, so I guess they'll have to finish it another day.

And last but not least, we had to give talks a couple of weeks ago in sacrament meeting. I felt like it went well and it wasn't that bad, but man I hate getting up in front of that many people and doing that. I'm glad that it's over and we probably won't have to give another talk for a while, hopefully!

Memorial day!

So we had a pretty good week. On thursday My little sis turned 16, I can't believe she's 16, she still seems too little to be driving and dating to me. Then on Saturday we went up to my parents property in Duchesne and camped. It was cold and wet most of the time, which was a bummer. We attempted to go fishing at Strawberry, but that only lasted about a half an hour, the girls sat in the car for most of the time, and the boys got puored on. Bryce managed to catch one fish though. Of course the day we left was the nicest day. Oh well we still had a lot of fun, sitting around the camp fire, shooting guns, and riding four wheelers. Thanks mom and dad for inviting us, we had a blast!

Finally a post!

So i know i've been a slacker with blogging lately, but i have an excuse:) We had internet then we didn't and now we have it again so, hopefully i can be better. We had a great mothers day. We spent the week before at gabes parents house and had a great dinner there it was Don and Kristis anniversary mothers dat weekend and they were going to be gone, so we celebrated early, then the saturday before mothers day, we spent with my family. We took family pics, made stepping stones, and had a yummy bbq. On mothers day, we went and visited Gabes mom for a little bit. We love all our moms soo much and appreciate all they do for us. We also went on our first fishing outing of the year with Josh, Nicole , and Bentley. We caught a few fish and just enjoyed the sunshine:)

I got to watch Bentley over night a couple weeks ago while Josh and Nicole celebrated there anniversary. She was soo good and it was fun to feel like a mom for a night:)

We have deffinatley been enjoying the nice weather lately, especialy Ellie. She is getting to go on a lot more walks now that it's not freezing. She is one happy doggie when she gets to play outside:)

Happy Easter!!

We had a great easter this year! We went to dinner with gabes mom on Friday, and then spent easter sunday at my parents house, and gabe parents. It's always good to spend time with family. Gabe and I did baskets for eachother this year. I made Gabe go on a hunt to find his basket throughout our house. I made him go up and down the stairs a million times until he found his basket. I got some flip-flops, a new shirt, and some work-out clothes! Gabe got lots of teats, 2 shirts and a hat. All in all it was a great easter. We are so thankful and feel so spoiled to have all our family live close to us. We love all of them sooo much! Hope everyone had a great easter!
