Easter Fun!!

We had a great easter this year. It was Jaces first, which made it that much more fun. Obviously he is still little and doesn't get the whole concept, but we had fun. Sunday morning we woke up and went to church. Seeing as our church was at 9a.m. we decided to do his basket after since Jace really didn't care either way. Church was uplifting and really good. Then when we got home, we did a little hunt through the house to find his basket, I know silly right? Well that is what we did all growing up and loved it, so I want to keep the tradition going. Anyways, Jace found his basket in the tub:) and he was so happy when he saw it. He is still really loving balls, so the Easter bunny got him a bunch, some treats, and other little things that he loves. I am kind of a mean mom though and didn't let him have any candy. I know it was his first easter, i'm just not ready for that yet, so in his eggs were puffs and yogurt melts, his favorite:) After he played for hours with his eggs and balls, we headed over to Gabes parents house for some yummy dinner and a fun little hunt for the kids. I'm mad though, I forgot my camera. It was a fun Easter and nice to relax and be together.

This is a random picture I wanted to post. I was getttig ready for the day in the bathroom one morning and he was happy and just playing when I looked over at him and found him zonked out like this:) Silly little boy, he must have been exhausted.



Spring Break

I had the whole week off from work for spring break and it was amazing. Gabe still had to work, so we didn't go any where, but Jace and I just chilled the entire time and did a few fun things.



This is one of his new favorite places in the house. He just jabbers and kisses him self it's pretty cute!



We went to Hee Haw Farms with some of our neighbor friends. We got to go in the baby animals cage and play with and pet the baby animals, it was so fun!



This baby cow just sat there the entire time and let all the kids maul it.

We got to watch my niece Bentley one of the days and it was so fun! We walked over to the park and played till we were pooped!




She is so cute with Jace and he thought she was so fun. They just laughed at eachother the entire day.



I crammed both of them in my jogging stroller. They thought that was pretty fun until they were both exhausted on the way home and just wanted to lay down wich doesn't work so well in a one seater.

Guess who decided to crawl! He did it while I was off, which was fun to see him try to figure it out. Now he cruises all over the house and is into pretty much everything. I love it though! Oh yeah and he finally had a tooth break through too.

It was so nice having some time off to just be able to relax and spend time with Jace. It was a much needed break.  Now i'm home again today wich i'm suppose to be at work. Jace was throwing up ALL night long... and now is happy as can be. Little stinker. Not sure if he's sick, or just ate something that didn't agree with him, but I didn't want to chance it and leave him.

Random

We went to our annual Utah Dental convention up in Salt lake a few weeks ago. We always stay the night and have way too much fun with just the girls. We went to dinner browsed the gateway, went hot tubbing, watched a chick flick, and did glitter toes. Our boss gave us all money to spend wich made it ten times better. I just love my office and the girls I work with.

9 Months!

 Jace is 9 months now. I know crazy right! He is so fun and learning new tricks and surprising us daily. Here are his 9 mon stats.

Height: 29.5 in 90th%

Weight: 17lbs11oz 17%

Head cir: 171/4 30%

Yeah he's tall and skinny...

Some things about Jace:

-He use to be deathly afraid of balls, but is now completely obsessed with them or anything that resembles a ball.

-He loves to throw things back and fourth, mostly balls and could do this all day long.

-He knows how to give hi-fives.

-He just started to say uh-oh when he drops something.

-He says mama and dada, but mostly dada, lil stinker:)

-He plays peek-a-boo with is blanket, and loves it.
-He still doesn't have any teeth yet. Not sure where they are? We might have to look into dentures for him if they dont come soon:) Ha

-Isn't crawling or pulling him self up onto furniture yet. He honestly has no desire to, and still hates to be on his stomach, he roles right over if he is on his stomach. He just has kind of a chill personality and is fine hangin out I guess.

-He is on his third ear infection in one month, and his third course of antibiotics, making him not such a happy camper lately and VERY clingy. Poor guy. I'm so done with this sick season, so done!

-He is on straight formula now. My milk started to dry up and so I didn't have enough to fill him up. I nurse him in the mornings and that is it. Luckily he likes formula and didn't even notice the switch!

-Still is a binky boy, can't live without it.

-He's a pretty snugly baby for the most part, and I love it.

-Still is as bald as the day he was born. It cracks me up so much!

-Just like most other children out there, his favorite show is Mickey Mouse clubhouse, he lights up and doesn't take his eyes off the t.v. when he hears the intro song.

-He loves to eat what we're eating and insists on having a taste of whatever is on our plate. He would probably eat just our food if I'd let him.

-He's such a joy to have around and keeps us very entertained! We love him.

This is still one of his favorite toys. He loves to rock back and fourth on it.

Like I said he LOVES balls now, big or small. Not sure what changed his mind, but Gabe is glad:)

Out With the Girls!



Last weekend a bunch of girls got together and went on a girls retreat. We packed our bags, left our kids and hubbies and headed out to SLC. First we ate at Setabellos, a yummy italian restraunt, went hot tubbing till we were prunny, decorated valentine cookies for our hubbies, painted our nails, and talked all night long, till 4 a.m. to be exact:) It was such a blast and just what I needed!

Jace Man

Here are a few pics of Jace over the past couple weeks. He has such a fun little personality that entertains us all day long. He has become particularly clingy lately which has been really hard cause all he wants is to be held and doesn't want me to leave his sight. Some days it's fine but others it's exhausting. I guess it's good to know i'm loved:)
He got this rocking horse from his grandma Julie and he loves it. He has just learned how to rock back and fourth on it.

Lately he's been loving to hold onto our fingers and walk aound the entire house.

This is the face Jace makes when he is near a basketball. He is TERRIFIED of them. Not sure why, but his dad's not too happy about it seeing as he is suppose to be a "baller" when he grows up, says Gabe. I think he'll grow out of it. Silly boy!

Such a cheezer!

I failed to post about New Years. We had a great one. We went to Olive Garden with the Lambs and then played games and ate goodies till midnight. Jace decided he didn't want to miss out on any of the fun and stayed up till midnight, little stinker! He wasn't a huge fan of the confetti poppers as you can tell.
